I’m not really sure what to put here. It’s kind of a weird placeholder the website guys put in this particular website template. SO, I’d just say, don’t worry about reading any of this. Move on to the blogs or the books. Or social media.

Relocating Around the Pace of Jesus

Slipping on my shoes this morning I discovered a pebble, a leftover souvenir from the last time I wore these shoes a few days ago, a couple thousand miles away. Apparently, I carry around stuff from my past.

And in contemplative prayer this morning I discovered some things still lingering from a few seasons ago, and a couple thousand miles away. Apparently, I carry around stuff from my past.

Contemplative prayer, that discipline of relocating myself around the pace, and patience of Jesus, is the path that has taught me most about myself. Why is this important? Because if we don't know ourselves, we cannot lay ourselves down at the foot of the cross.
